Fluctuations in the interest rate curve represent the main challenge for the hedging and management of large loan and investment portfolios. The changes in interest rates over the last few years have occurred with a previously unknown intensity of fluctuation, resulting in corresponding interest rate risk. This can be shown most clearly when the interest rate curve can be observed animated over time. With the quarterly updated interest rate curve video „The moving interest rate curve“, the Federal Association for Public Interest Rate Management presents an instrument that visualizes precisely these interest rate developments.
